Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Academy Awards for a 3rd time, the Academy announced Monday.
Kimmel beforehand helmed the ceremony in 2017 and 2018.
“Being invited to host the Oscars for a 3rd time is both an ideal honor or a lure,” Kimmel reportedly said in a statement. “Both means, I’m grateful to the Academy for asking me so shortly after everybody good stated no.”
His final foray into internet hosting the awards present was memorable for “La La Land” and “Moonlight” greatest image combine up.
The subsequent Oscars ceremony will observe one other well-known controversy – Will Smith slapping presenter Chris Rock on the 94th Academy Awards.
Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Corridor hosted that present.
It was introduced in September that Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Leisure had been named government producers for the upcoming Oscars telecast.
The ninety fifth Academy Awards will happen on Sunday, March 12.
