Indian singer and composer Bappi Lahiri,
who lent his expertise to Indian cinema for practically 50 years, died February 15 on the age of 69, in keeping with a press release from his physician. Lahiri, who was fondly known as “India’s Disco King,” was identified for his love of Nineteen Seventies-inspired dance beats.
