“Bridgerton’s” Queen Charlotte is getting an origin story.
On Friday Netflix and Shondaland shared the first-look picture and official title for Shonda Rhimes’ restricted collection, “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”
The information got here as a part of a preview clip for the Tudum fan event, the place the collection can be featured.
In it, Golda Rosheuvel, who performs Queen Charlotte on “Bridgerton,” and Adjoa Andoh, who stars as Girl Agatha Danbury are joined by India Amarteifio, who performs younger Queen Charlotte within the prequel.
“Centered on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and energy, this Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of how the younger Queen’s marriage to King George sparked each an incredible love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton,” in keeping with Netflix’s description of the collection.
No debut date for the restricted collection was introduced.
